ORDERING INFORMATION
Availability
We do our best to ensure that all of the titles we feature are in stock at our warehouse, ready to ship to you. However, there are instances beyond our control that may prevent us from having an item in stock. If this happens, please be assured that we are hard at work rectifying the situation, and we will get you a copy of the item as quickly as possible. Your Shopping Cart
When you're ready to purchase a particular title, simply click on the "Add to Shopping Cart" button, and that book will be placed in your electronic shopping cart. Please note, however, that if you leave our site without completing your order, all items in your shopping cart will be deleted. We're sorry we can't hang on to them for you until you come back, so we hope you'll decide to order them the first time around.
Promotion Codes
In order to provide better pricing to our customers, we occasionally offer additional discounts or free shipping through promotion codes found in selected mailings or emails. To take advantage of such an offer, enter the promotion code at checkout where prompted and click "Submit". Methods of Payment
We accept Visa, MasterCard, and American Express credit cards plus PayPal. We're sorry, but we cannot bill you for items you wish to purchase via The Hockey News Store.
Tax
Canadian Tax is applicable in the following Provinces:
NB, NF, NS, QC 13% QST/HST
Elsewhere in Canada, 5% GST
SHIPPING INFORMATION
Shipping Charges
Shipping is calculated by weight of the products being purchased. Shipping charges are applied per each individual mailing address. Subscriptions purchased are excluded from total order value calculations as shipping is already included in the cost of a subscription. We are not responsible for lost or stolen mail that does not include paid tracking.
When Your Order Should Arrive
Orders shipped via 'Standard' shipping in Canada will be sent via Canada Post to arrive in 7-14 business days. Continental U.S. are shipped via United States Postal Service to arrive within 7-14 business days. Delivery to Hawaii, Alaska, and Puerto Rico takes up to 21 business days. Please note that we have no control over mail delivery delays due to holidays season or other unknown factors.
International Orders
International orders outside of Canada and the USA are no longer accepted.
Order Tracking
We're sorry, but we can only put a trace on those orders which are shipped via shipping methods that include a tracking service. We can, however, tell you when your order was processed. Please check your account for order history information. We are not responsible for lost or stolen mail that does not include paid tracking.
Missing, Lost or Stolen Magazines or Items
We are not responsible for lost or stolen magazines or items that are shipped without a tracking service.
If your order contains tracking and we have received confirmation that the item was delivered to the shipping address in the order, we are not responsible if the item was stolen from your mailbox, doorstep or other such location defined in your shipping address.
There has been an increase in package thefts from mailboxes and front or delivery doors in Canada and the USA and should you be a victim of this crime, please contact your local law enforcement.
Damaged Magazines
When magazines are shipped from our distrubution center, they leave in new mint condition. We are not responsible for damaged magazines caused by Canada Post or the United States Postal Service.
For our subscribers only, we offer a one time exemption as an extession of their subscription by one issue in any given twelve month period once we receive the damaged issue's torn off front cover mailed to either of the Canada or the USA addresses or take a picture and email it to us. For our valued customers who purchase a single issue or issues, we will replace the issue or issues only if we have the issue or issues in stock, the customer pre-pays the cost of shipping the replacement issue or issues with tracking in advance and only after we receive the damaged issue's torn off front cover or covers mailed to either of the Canada or the USA addresses or take a picture of the torn off cover that is damaged and email it to us.
